On 16 February the team of our young specialists
participated in the VII regional winter sports day held
between enterprises of the Kirov region.
The team of the Selmash Plant has gained a diploma and
letter of gratitude.

On 25 February Youth Board has been established
On 25 February 2008 JSC Manufacturing Plant ‘Selmash’
has established Youth Board under ‘Youth management on
industrial enterprise’ campaign conducted within the
State youth policy program in Kirov region.

Young specialists of the plant took place in regional
contest ‘Best in Trade’
On 25 April young specialists of the plant Selmash
competed with workers from other enterprises of the
Kirov region in ‘Best in Trade’ contest.
Naumov Alexander, machine-tool shop turner (5th shop),
won the 4th place in ‘the best turner’ nomination.
All the contestants received prizes and letters of
gratitude.

Administration of the plant Selmash cares about veterans
considering it a moral duty of the society.
To Defender’s and the Victory Day commemoration veterans
of the WWII have been granted postcards and money
presents. All veterans of the WWII and front workers
have been subscribed for ‘Vyatskiy Kray’ for the 2nd
half year of 2008.
On the eve of the 1st October, which is Veteran Day, the
plant will dedicate a song to all veterans to be
broadcasted on ‘Zvezda’ channel

Alley of Fame will be reestablished by the 65th
Anniversary.
Alley of Fame is not a new concept but something that
has been shamelessly forgotten.
It has been decided to reestablish the Alley of Fame by
the 65th Anniversary of the Plant. Alley of Fame will
introduce photographs of pace-makers - all those who
unselfishly contributed to the wellbeing of the
enterprise.
