vacancies: Labour vacancies:
The main objective of the Personnel
Policy of JSC Manufacturing Plant Selmash is to provide
optimal balance between renewal and retention of
existing personnel both qualitatively and quantitatively;
provide for further development and education of the
staff in terms of production needs, and create
favourable environment for effective labour.
Basic principles of personnel management:
- Any problem encountered by the enterprise is primarily
connected to the personnel management and its solution
lies in it as well..
- The shortest way to improve efficiency of an
enterprise is to comprehend and draw together purposes
of employer and employee.
- Any problem encountered by an employee is a problem of
personnel department as well as heads of all departments
of the enterprise.
Major lines of Personnel Policy development:
1 Personnel intake program, improved personnel selection
techniques, adaptation assistance.
Efficiency of hiring, selection, adaptation and
tutorship of personnel has considerably improved.
2 Assistance for young specialists and candidates for
application.
Intake of young people has increased recently; mostly
they are graduates from higher, vocational and technical
educational institutions.
There is a Youth Board established on the enterprise
which is actively involved in everyday life of young
workers.
3 Enhancement of personnel rating and certification
system.
Certification is conducted for the purpose of improved
quality and efficiency of the work done by the workers
as well as right factor for motivation. Personnel
certification encourages for further improvement in
personnel selection, management and promotion.
4 Planning of allocation, promotion and rotation of the
personnel.
We provide for various techniques to analyze vacancies
and plan substitutive actions based on reserves and
certification.
5 Creation and training of skilled managing reserve.
The enterprise provides for active and strategic
personnel reserve.
6 Professional training and education.
Education is the major motivation for personnel. The
management of the enterprise provided for favourable
conditions for further promotion of its workers –
personnel training system has been introduced – from now
on every worker, long-time or just admitted, has the
possibility to master a new profession (allied as well),
increase one’s skill within existing domains. The
abovementioned program is being subsidized subject to
financial capabilities of the enterprise.
7 Social Programs.
Collective agreement of JSC Manufacturing plant Selmash
provides for the following social guarantees, benefits
and compensations (subject to financial capabilities and
local norms):
- encouragement of employees working for at least 10
years at the enterprise; at 50 years anniversary or
retirement age;
- one-time gratuity on the occasion of the professional
holiday – ‘Mechanician Day’ and instatement of ‘Veteran
of the Plant’ and ‘Honoured Veteran of the Plant’ title
subject to local norms;
- the enterprise provides money for facilities in
sanatoria and health resorts for its workers ;
- the enterprise provides preferential tickets to
health-improving camps for children of its workers;
- the enterprise appropriates funds for cultural,
health-improving and sports activities;
- the enterprise renders support to labour veterans, and
also provides money for celebrations concerning Veteran
Day and Victory Day.
The administration of JSC Manufacturing Plant Selmash
advocates for stable corporate environment, maintaining
spirit of being a part of a whole in attempts to
reaching its goals.
The major purpose of labour protection program is to
preserve life and health of employees during their
labour activities; it is achieved through implementation
of technical management, proper hygiene and sanitary
conditions, health control and other activities.
Responsibility for maintenance and implementation of
normative regulations in labour safety domain and
environmental protection lays on labour protection
department as well as many other departments of the
enterprise closely related to numerous State
inspectorate agencies concerned with labour and
industrial safety, and environmental protection. .
These departments exercise control over labour
protection implementation. Industrial sanitation
laboratory carries out regular estimations of nuisance
and danger values, quality of lighting and indoor
climate at workplaces. .
Workers of the plant are provided, on the free basis,
with overalls and other personal guards under the
Regulations.
All workers of the plant are subject to obligatory
social insurance from industrial accidents and
trade-bound diseases.
Workers engaged in hard, harmful and/or dangerous
working conditions and workers operating moving vehicles
are subject to preliminary (on admittance) and regular
physical examinations at the expense of the enterprise.
The enterprise provides for compensations for workers
engaged in hard, harmful and/or dangerous working
conditions: additional payment to wage rate, free milk (or
cash equivalent) and so on. |
